3D Map Of Human Brain
3D Map Of Human Brain
Human brain consist of folds and crses so it is very complex to understand its ch and every section. A new three-dimensional map called “BigBrain”.This 3d desighn show how all parts are interacted.Neurons are sketched so as it is clrly visible.
Slicing a brain exposes only two dimensions. To make the new map, Katrin Amunts of the Jülich Resrch Centre in Germany and her co workers implanted a 65-yr old woman's brain in wax, cut it into more than 7400 sections.ch sections is 20micrometersthick one-fifth of the width of a human hair.He made digital s of the slices with a resolution of 20micrometers 1000 hours were required on a supercomputer to draw 3d map of brain as it was not sy task. Due to high resolution, the computer was able to determine the 3D shape of ch fold correctly, even if the slice had been cut at an angle. The model's resolution is 50 times higher than that of previous map. 3d is very helpful for doctors and neurologist as due to its clr cut view, abnormalities and disse can sily found.-->
